Location is excellent, the updates (floor, kitchen and bathroom) are nice but quality of installation was not very high. Shower lining and backsplash were uneven, the floor felt like it was laid directly onto concrete so it dipped and varied with the poured concrete rather than sitting evenly on a prepared, layered surface. The unit available was not the one pictured, which was not mentioned in the post; the unit we toured was a basement unit. It was VERY dark compared to the pictures shown and the ceiling were quite low. They were probably 7 ft, and then even lower where the duct work for the above unit ran along the ceiling. Anyone much over 6ft would struggle to feel comfortable in this unit.

Management

Property manager was responsive and helpful and set up a tour efficiently. However, they also did not mention the key shortcomings of the place. They did mention the unit was a basement unit, but when asked directly suggested the place had plenty of light. We toured at 5 pm on a clear, bright, sunny day in August and had to turn on every light to get a clear look at any room. Windows are very small and start at chest level, and are only on the north and south sides, so light in the unit is extremely limited. It definitely feels like a (sort of fancy) basement.
