The detached unit is a remodel of an antique Japanese furo, or Japanese bath house. It is surrounded by fruit trees, ginger, and vegetable gardens ($1,290 everything included). The property is located in a peaceful and quiet old neighborhood up the road from the historic Calasa Garage in Kula. Considering the whole package, this is an excellent housing value: 1) your own private, separate locked detached/stand-alone 'ohana studio unit, or an totally private attached studio unit in the main house with own locked off enry and living area; 2) a private separate bathroom; 3) your own private separate mini-kitchen with a mini-refrigerator, toaster oven, hot plate; 4) outdoor areas in the larger and beautiful yard to hang out, cook, play, recreate; 5) garden space to plant vegetables; 6) small covered storage cabinets; 7) water service; 8) electricity; and 9) full laundry; all included in the price, no extra charge. The unit is partially furnished but could be unfurnished or additionally furnished if desirable. The following requirements are non-negotiable and include: 1) a six-month lease; 2) a deposit equal to first month s rent; 3) applicant must fill out an application; 4) criminal background check, which is the very last step. If we make it to that point, you would be the number one finalist, and if you passed the check, you will be living on this amazing property, in this charming space.
