There is a limited amount of storage space here for your things: above closet and in cupboards, and on front porch/bike area, but anything more than that you will have to rent other storage unit elsewhere. *120 sq' bedroom with optional dresser and shelving, the room's too small for a king size bed, but queen size is good, allows room for end tables. (Ask for info on onsite available bed/furniture/furnishings)a Another option is to turn that 120 sq' bedroom into your living room where a couch/futon can go, to sleep on, or, put a twin size in the kitchen nook instead. There is some furniture and household things available to borrow if you want, including queen bed and twin bed, etcs. *Dine-in efficiency kitchen *In-Unit Washer/Dryer. Close to shopping, theaters, cafe's. *Free on-street parking, 10 min Loading Zone in front *Nice shared fenced outdoor patio area with table, 2 chairs, shade umbrella *Private in-unit bathroom: older tub with new shower fixtures, one grab bar. Fast-flush toilet, older sink with medicine cabinet mirror, locking bathroom door for privacy. Bathroom is narrow, not ADA compliant. *Floors: vinyl, carpet squares. 1 optional 5'x7' area rug, optional chairs. *2 'window shaker' air conditioners for summer, & 2 HEPA air purifiers provided. *7 windows, lots of light, but the windows are old, there's not much of a view (roofs,treetops). Curtains are optional or add your own decor favorites to take with you when you go. Mini-blinds are installed. *9' Tall ceilings, great insulation, good roof, the home is Earthquake Retrofitted. *Entry/stairs has beautiful warm tones shades of brown grass-cloth, solid, retro-cozy feel. Lath and Plaster walls, please no nails, use Command removable wall hook/strip hanging systems, available at Fred Meyer's etc. Owner/Manager lives below, and shares locked front security entrance, both apartments have separate locking doors. Owner requests no night-shift workers, as quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am. Property Rule #1: No smoking, No smoking medical marijuana, vaping, illicit drugs, loud parties, strong perfumes, no open flames, including candles. The reason is owner lives directly downstairs and there is shared ventilation. This is a great, low key, cozy little place for your centrally located Inner South East Portland base of operations, everything you'll need is close-by. Month to month, option to Lease up to 2 years, after 3 months. All applicants and co-housing applicants must apply. and pass screening. 2nd applicant or co-tenant does not have to pass the 2x asking rent ratio. If interested, please fill out your Zillow renter profile, and/or apply on Zillow. Contact landlord, make appointment to view. After viewing, if you want to rent, then fill out landlords required paper app. You may be asked to provide other Industry Standard Rental Criteria, such as pay stubs, bank statements, full credit report, co-signer. MySmartMove will be your Background Investigation ap if you do not go through Zillow. Allow a few days for verification. If accepted, then you will sign a paper Agreement, and other move-in forms. Be sure to read all of the small print on the back of all the forms, and keep your copies. 1st months rent can be prorated. Payments are from Main Tenant through bank to bank transfer, checking account checks, cashiers checks, money orders, or cash with receipt given each time. Your Security deposit amount depends on income to rent ratio, income to debt ratio, past renter and employment history, etc screening. No sub-leases, all tenants must be signed on Agreement.
    The City of Portland requires a notice to applicants of the Portland Housing Bureau’s Statement of Applicant Rights. Additionally, Portland requires a notice to applicants relating to a Tenant’s right to request a Modification or Accommodation.
