    Available Nov. 30th for one person. All utilities and WiFi included. Dogs possible. Studio with private entrance in a house in Skyridge: a beautiful, peaceful, quiet subdivision 2 miles from Downtown Durango at the base of Horse Gulch trail system. 4 blocks from a trolley stop, a restaurant with oxygen bar, liquor store, convenience store, and yoga. Also 4 blocks from Skyridge Park with tennis courts, pavilion with picnic tables, etc. hiking trail behind house. There is a BEAUTIFUL DUCK POND in the greenbelt behind the house, with a sitting and grilling area, under a tree, with a view of the pond. We are also planning to add a very private porch (8' wide X 5' deep) solely for the renters ASAP. The last picture is the porch, which will be installed against the renter's side of the house. Many deer walk by here to drink from the pond. The large Kitchen/ living room was just beautifully remodeled in the Rustic Victorian style with hand-made oak cabinets, 2 murals and vinyl parquet tile floor. Full kitchen with dishwasher, full size refrigerator, brand new range stove, double sink with sprayer, lots of storage and counter space for cooking. This room has nice views. It is well soundproofed, with insulation in all 4 walls and ceiling. (The ceiling is a second, insulated ceiling from the ceiling above it.) It's very quiet and private. It is downstairs from the main house. You enter it from the garage. THE PRIVATE BATHROOM AND EXTRA ROOM IS AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS IN THE MAIN HOUSE. THE HALLWAY IS MADE PRIVATE WITH A SOLID WOOD DOOR ON ONE SIDE, AND A CURTAIN ON THE OTHER. The laundry room, with a large utility sink and gear storage for renters (including a small gear wall), is in the next room. The renter would share the laundry room with the home owners, who live upstairs . In the garage, there are ceiling hooks for a kayak. We are also installing a private storage area in the garage, 48 sq ft, with many shelving units, a cabinet, etc. We, the homeowners, are a friendly professional couple in early 60's with 2 well-trained, indoor cats who stay upstairs. They are the kinds of cats that people are usually not allergic to. No smoking or vaping on premises. No students (sorry). Small, 4WD or All Wheel Drive cars or SUVs are best (steep driveway). The lease is month to month, but we are looking for someone more long term.
