The layout and loft/bedroom makes it challenging for a roommate situation. This unit has an open concept downstairs with a gas burning stove that can easily heat the whole unit (natural gas is way cheaper than electric). As well, there is a newly updated 1/2 bath downstairs, washer/dryer, pantry, stainless steel kitchen appliances, updated paint and fixtures. The spiral staircase takes you upstairs to a 1 bedroom/loft area (technically it's a 2-bedrooom as the large open loft has a closet). Upstairs also has newly remodeled (1) Full bath with a bathtub (new vanity/flooring/fixtures). Spacious front yard, large fenced backyard and outdoor private patio (backs up to a wooded landscape) for a tranquil space in the middle of Durango! Also, an outdoor shed for all your outdoor gear! 1 off street parking spot as well as plenty of street parking. Since this unit DOES HAVE a front and back grassy yard -- you will be responsible for monitoring that the grass is being watered during the appropriate months with the installed sprinkler system. We do provide lawn service to mow the lawn every other week and maintain the sprinkler system; everything else is the responsibility of the tenant (leaf pick up, ensure lawn survives). We take pride in our units and maintain them at a very HIGH STANDARD! This is a very special place to live that does not come on the market often. With that said, we require a special tenant that will respect, care for, and love it as we have all of these years. This unit is available Jan-Feb 1st, 2025 (but with flexible tenants the date is flexible). Tours available by appointment. Please do not disturb tenants!
