This is a month to month rental. I am looking for one person and one possible animal. I have an apartment that is attached to the main house on a four acre lot surrounded by redwoods and other trees as well as ferns and flowers. The garden is a wildlife habitat. There is a creek in front of the property. It is located on a quiet road behind Rohner Park. No traffic and no street lights. Very safe. One mile from Main Street. Very convenient.
The house was finished being built in 2013. There is a double garage that you can use one side of.
There is Wi-Fi, garbage & recycling service, and water which are shared between us. Gas and electric, each apartment has its own bill. The kitchen has an electric stove and refrigerator. There is a cozy little gas fireplace. There is heating and cooling. There is a washer and dryer. There is a back porch with a table and chair and a small barbeque. There is also a pond with fish and lilies and a deck with a table and bench to sit under a redwood tree.
The two apartments share a hallway which makes the two units a bit close so I am looking for someone who is generally clean and with whom we can both share mutual respect and consideration. The two apartments are well insulated as far as sounds/noise is concerned.
I am a senior who loves animals and never want to refuse them, but I cannot have kitties here because they want to get the birds.
Dogs are fine but need to be well behaved and not bark a lot.
I am usually available to show the apartment.

PGE is whatever you use, which ranges from $150 to $600 as an estimate.
One thing about this house is that it is not forced air heating nor central cooling.
It is called WaterFurnace. Look it up on the internet. It is the best heating/cooling system ever.
No tobacco smoking anywhere. Alcohol is frowned upon.
Pet parents must clean up after their pet. Pets must obey their parents.
Tenant is not required to do any maintenance or care of garden.
Tenant needs to keep odors in apartment down.
Tenant takes half of the responsibility for cleaning hallway that we share.
