Our apartment is located in the heart of the Adams Morgan neighborhood, right off 18th Street NW and Calvert St NW, and a few blocks from the Woodley Park Metro Station and the National Zoo. In this vibrant, cosmopolitan, neighborhood, you will find some of the city's finest restaurants, historic homes as well as an array of unique bookstores, and Washington's largest concentration of art displays. This perfect location provides many walking destinations; White House, The National Mall, The National Zoo, DuPont Circle, Kalorama Triangle, and many others! The bus stop is exactly 100 feet from the apartment and that alone can take you to many destinations in the city. There's a great variety of shopping options within walking distance; boutiques, small local stores and arts and craft shops in the neighborhood. There are also two grocery stores, a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, FedEx, and a Phillz Coffee all within 2-5 minutes walking distance from the property. Such a treat in our Adams Morgan neighborhood :) The Apartment: This is a modern 2 bedroom 1 bathroom English basement apartment with a private entrance. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and the living room has a convertible sleeper sofa. The bathroom has a toilet and tub/shower combo. There are about 5 steps to take you to the front door of the unit (standard for English Basements in DC). There is private parking behind the building for $20/car/night or $250/car/month. Amenities: -Clothes washer and dryer -Fully appointed kitchen with refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker (drip), dishes, glasses & cook ware. -Ironing board and iron -Flat Screen TV -Central AC/Heat -Private parking If you have read the listing and are interested in staying here, you can send us an email. In the email please include the first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, and best post termination lease addresses of every occupant. We will then send you the KeyCheck tenant screening form. Once approved we will write & send you the lease. -Extended stay of persons not qualified as Tenants is not allowed. -Tenants and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks), or inconvenience neighbors nor use the premise for any unlawful purposes. -Tenants are responsible for moving trash & recycling bins to curb and for placing them back once emptied. -Parking a car behind the unit is $20/car/night, $62.50/car/week, or $250/car/month. -If Tenant cancels mid stay they will owe the remainder of the lease. -Tenant understands that package delivery is very unreliable in DC as packages will either get lost or stolen. -Tenant is responsible for their bicycle and/or automobile storage. -Only toilet paper inside the toilet. -Tenants pay for all utilities.
