We will also confirm that the number of intended occupants does not exceed the legal limit of 2, based on the bedroom size in accordance with D.C. Housing Code. We do not consider credit score alone, lack of credit history, arrests or charges without convictions, eviction filings that did not result in judgment or are older than 3 years, or lease violations related to domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault. Reports are provided by a third-party screening service and decisions are typically made within 7 business days. Applicants have the right to request copies of reports, dispute inaccuracies, and file complaints with the D.C. Office of Human Rights. All screening criteria comply with D.C.
