Oak Hill House is nestled atop a picturesque hill on a serene southern Kentucky farm, just minutes from Lake Cumberland. This expansive home offers privacy and endless entertainment options, comfortably accommodating up to 25 guests. Enjoy quality time with friends and family while exploring the grounds, which feature a covered picnic area, croquet course, tennis court, volleyball court, pool, and gazebo.
The welcoming foyer and front staircase lead you into the home, where the main floor hosts a living room, parlor, and a well-equipped kitchen. The formal dining area is perfect for gathering with guests. The main floor includes a master bedroom with a king-size bed and two twins in an extended area of the spacious walk-in closet, along with another bedroom featuring a queen-size bed. Upstairs, four rooms each offer a queen-size bed. The basement provides additional sleeping arrangements with three bunk beds, each with a queen on the bottom and a twin on top, and an additional room with a queen-size bed. The basement is also equipped for entertainment with a kitchenette, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, and a large flat-screen TV with cable and DVD. Step outside to a large patio with views of the property and access to the in-ground pool, surrounded by ample seating and open spaces for sunbathing. A conference room with tables and chairs for 50 and a smart TV is available for meetings.
Guests will have full and private access to the home and pool. The pool is open until Labor Day 2024 and is not heated. Weekly maintenance and cleaning are performed on the pool, requiring access to the yard and pool area during service days.
Located about 5 minutes from downtown Somerset, Oak Hill House offers easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Driving is recommended for getting around.
Guests will enter the property through the front gates, with a code provided 24 hours prior to check-in for access. Pets are not allowed in the home, and furniture should not be moved. A penalty applies for violating the no-pets policy. A laptop computer is not included.
