Located right in the heart of Shaw's 9th street corridor. 3 blocks from the Mt. Vernon Sq. Metro station. The Giant grocery store is at the corner and many restaurants, cafes, yoga studios, gyms, art galleries, banks, etc. surround this block. The unit is offered furnished or unfurnished, long-term or short-term. Free wifi is also offered with the rental. The other two units are furnished and rented month to month on airbnb. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and able to be a stable presence and be our "eyes & ears" at the house. All utilities will remain in landlord's name. Tenant is charged a flat rate to cover electric, gas, water and wifi. Tenants may choose to get their own wifi and cable. The flat fee may increase if there is excessive utility usage detected. (Ex: excessive laundry use or added appliances like space heaters or window unit ACs)
