In 90038, you're in Hollywood's studio district, a flat, sunny slice of central L.A. with Mediterranean weather, walkable blocks between Santa Monica Blvd and Melrose, and a creative, production-savvy crowd. Paramount Pictures and Raleigh Studios anchor the area, while Melrose Avenue's boutiques and murals, the Sycamore creative corridor (Sightglass/Tartine, Gigi's), and galleries like Regen Projects and Jeffrey Deitch shape a lively arts and dining scene. Expect coffee culture, wine bars, and late-night spots, plus beloved institutions like Hollywood Forever for concerts and Cinespia screenings. Day to day, Sprouts Farmers Market on La Brea, neighborhood cafes, and yoga and boutique fitness are close by; green pockets like the Hollywood Forever grounds and nearby Poinsettia Recreation Center offer room to stroll, making it pet friendly. Recent Zillow market trends show a median asking rent in the mid-$2,000s, with typical listings from the low $2,000s to the upper $3,000s depending on size. Transit-friendly with quick 101 access and frequent buses, it mixes urban energy with community hangouts.
