Features: 2 bedrooms each with 1 large closet and original hardwood floors, 1 original-tiled full bathroom with 4 ft. tub/shower, a tiled kitchenette/dining/living room space with large industrial, double-sink, 2-burner induction cook-top, microwave/convection/air-fryer, toaster oven, and 10.1 cu. refrigerator/freezer, and 1 large closet. Furniture that can be left in place for you to use: 1 queen bed, 1 antique wooden table that can seat 6 with 4 wooden chairs, antique love seat, metal rolling storage cart, 4 lamps, 1 marble-top end table, 1 television that works with Roku device. The unit has 2 outdoor spaces: a loose-brick covered patio by the front door, AND a balcony with views of the LA city skyline, Signal Hill, Long Beach Harbor, and Catalina Island! 1 street parking spot, in front of the house, for 1 narrow car. More parking 1000 ft. away. NO pets. No laundry on site, but launderette is .4 miles away. Looking for tenants who are quiet and respectful. Only 1.2 miles from Uptown Whittier's tree-lined streets with unique shops and restaurants. 1 mile from the 605 freeway. Only 27 miles from LAX, and 31 miles from John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. Gracious living among quiet people in a safe neighborhood close to amazing hiking trails! All 4 rooms are on the same floor in this private home and included in the unit which is 44 stair steps up from the street parking, so you need to be in good physical shape. Required: FICO credit score of 650 or higher and proof of an income of $65,000/yr. Come enjoy elegant living in old-world charm with daily dynamic views in a charming, safe neighborhood! (If your home was involved in the Altadena fire, so you need a place for only 3 months, I can do that for you.) First month's rent, last month's rent, and $900 deposit is due when the lease is signed. TOURS are only given AFTER interested parties have 1) turned in a complete application and 2) allowed the owner to run a credit check on them. NO pets. NO overnight guests. NO subleases. NO smoking . NO drugs (including marijuana--I can't stand the smell!) NO loud gatherings. Public parking for 1 slim vehicle is currently available in front of the house. A wide vehicle, or a second vehicle, must be parked further away: best if below Capri Dr. in legally-allowed spots on Rideout Way. All tenants MUST be approved by the owner and have signed the lease. If there are 2 tenants, EACH tenant must be able to pay the rent him/herself, in case the other roommate leaves suddenly. Utilities are an ADDITIONAL $110/mo. You will be expected to keep your unit clean and tidy, and follow the city/state's guidance on waste disposal, including putting your garbage into the appropriate trash cans in the garage in time for Thursday morning trash pickups. No hoarding is allowed. If you do NOT want to clean your unit yourself, I can recommend a house-cleaner who you will directly pay to clean it for you. Please avoid bad language. The hill is an 80% grade, so not a good place for children. Be aware that the property owner hosts occasional large art salons with music.
