There are seasonal leases everywhere in Pinellas County and I’m a local so not interested in seasonal leases… I asked specifically if this was an annual lease and he responded, yes it’s annual. They wanted a move in by May 1. I said perfect!! They showed me the property and told me to fill out an application immediately to get it pushed through by May 1. I did per their request and they called me back to say I was approved through the application, however they now only will do it til January, not the annual lease that was discussed. So in short, they told me it was annual, charged me $50 for application fee and then said… sorry we only want til Jan. This is terrible to do to people! I get the app fee costs money, but let’s be honest about the lease term upfront instead of blatantly deceiving someone. Very poor business ethics!!
