Gas, electric, water and sewer. Renter is responsible for removal of ice and snow in the winter. They are to work it out with the upstairs tenant.

    She was a very nice lady trying to find a rule-abiding tenant - i.e., someone who wasn’t going to disregard the no smoking, no pets policy.

    This rental IS NOT 1200 SF as advertised. I’m guessing that’s the square footage of the entire house, which is split into 2 apartments. The bedrooms were extremely small - one so tiny that a twin bed would consume half the space. Laundry was down a tiny near-vertical staircase into a nasty basement that was dark, musty, creepy, and had a very low ceiling. The narrow driveway must be shared with the upstairs tenant, and you’re on your own for snow removal in the winter.
