The Boardroom, in the heart of downtown, is only steps away from locally owned shops, coffee houses, restaurants and a chic salon. Our quaint Beard's Park is located directly across the street, in addition to our impressive mural of Montpelier, which honors Madisonville's namesake, James Madison.
Our trendy industrial 2nd floor walk-up studio, with a fully equipped kitchen (featuring black stainless steel appliances) is perfect for your time in Madisonville. The satisfying comfort of the Sealy Posturepedic Plus mattress, provides needed support to rejuvenate and restore. This cozy and stylish studio apartment will quickly become your happy place!
The space
Our downtown location was originally home to members of the Morton family, in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Throughout the years, it has also served as a location to various businesses. Our current building originally housed First Federal Savings and Loan Association, circa 1960's. Presently, professional offices are located on the main level, while two residential apartments are located on the second level. The Boardroom is named as a throwback to the days of the savings and loan association. This space provided a luxurious boardroom, in which its board of directors held their meetings. The studio is located up a flight of stairs (14 steps-a landing-4 steps). Private parking, a rarity for many of our downtown apartments, with security lighting is located on the property.
The studio space is for your exclusive use. The utility room (including washer, dryer, iron and ironing board) is a shared space, with tenants in the apartment directly across the hall. In addition to the many offerings in our central downtown community, medical centers, urgent care facilities and Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital are minutes away. Our Madisonville City Park and Mahr Park, with kayaking, walking trails and picnic areas, both offer opportunities to commune with nature. Tennis courts, a golf course and a disk golf course are also available at the city parks. Grocery stores, drug stores and wine & spirit shops are close by, as well. You will find our downtown community welcoming and enjoyable.
Three month minimum lease is required and will be provided for review upon acceptable application and credit check and prior to rental agreement. $1,000 deposit required. $150 cleaning fee. Electric, gas, water, sewer and sanitation utilities are included in the rental amount. Wifi is also provided. No pets!
