    Mountain Haus Apartments is Stowe's largest apartment community, offering a serene environment just minutes away from the Stowe village and ski resort on Mt. Mansfield. Our tenants take pleasure in being close to the many recreational activities that exist in this area as well as being embedded in nature. We do NOT allow subletting & short-term renting is strictly forbidden in our lease. Mountain Haus Apartments consists of two buildings, and the buildings are slightly different as far as appliances, amenities and utilities. More information can be found on our website or by reaching out to us directly. Mountain Haus #1 offers a lease where the heat is included in rent. It also has a basement where tenants store their bikes & where we also have storage units available for rent. The building has three laundry rooms, shared amongst the tenants. They are free to use and operate 24/7. Each floor has two commercial washer & dryers. There is no A/C inside the apartments, however there is A/C in the common areas. Tenants are allowed to put up window A/C units in their own apartments. Mountain Haus #2 is our latest addition to the Mountain Haus community & was built in 2022. Apartments all each have their own heat pump with mini splits. Thus, tenants pay for heating & cooling of their units as well as for hot water. These apartments are also equipped with their own washer & dryer. This building offers no basement or storage units. Instead, tenants have to store their bikes in a separate bike-storage facility outside the building. Both buildings have an elevator and complimentary EV charging. Both buildings are pet friendly. High-speed fiber optic internet available. The property manager lives on-site. Both buildings have camera surveillance. Utilities included in rent for both buildings are parking, trash/recycle/compost, mowing, plowing, sewerage, water. Tenants in Mountain Haus #1 do not pay for heat. Tenants in Mountain Haus #2 pay for hot water usage.
