St. Paul’s 55102 mixes riverfront energy with stately history: think the Cathedral of Saint Paul and Summit Avenue’s grand homes, the brick-lined Irvine Park Historic District, and lively West 7th stretching to the Upper Landing. Four true seasons shape life here—snowy, cozy winters and warm, patio-friendly summers—perfect for bike rides on the Samuel Morgan trail, dog meetups at High Bridge Dog Park, and sunsets at Victoria Park. Everyday staples include Mississippi Market Co-op, Cossetta’s Italian market, Keg and Case Market at the old Schmidt Brewery, coffee stops like Nina’s and Cafe Astoria, and Xcel Energy Center and the Science Museum for big nights out. Boutiques and yoga on Selby, breweries like Bad Weather, and an active restaurant scene give the area a neighborly-but-urban feel that attracts young professionals, creatives, and long-time residents, with plenty of pet-friendly patios. Recent months’ Zillow Market Trends show a median asking rent around the mid-$1,600s, with most listings roughly $1,200–$2,500 depending on size and amenities.
