1750 EL Cerrito Place Apartments

Over the phone the manager seemed like she was looking for a renter for the unit. When I arrived to see the unit she proceeded to tell me that she had already accepted an application days ago, and insisted that she could not take my application until she found out that the person who applied days ago does not qualify. I wish she would have told me this over the phone so that I did not waste a trip and get my hopes up. When I called a few days later to check on the unit she told me that the unit was available and asked if I wanted to come see it. When I told her that I had already seen it and I was just checking to see if the person who applied before me was approved or not, She asked again who I was to remember exactly which person I was. When I refresh your memory and she remembered me, she then changed her statement and said that the other person was approved. sadly I feel like there’s some sort of discrimination happening here. It’s unfortunate because I have perfect credit and I work hard, but for whatever reason she doesn’t want to accept my application.
