Property
The apartment was in a historic building in a good location near Hobart College. It is a first floor apartment facing a busy street. I did not hear a lot of street noise from inside. There is a gallery kitchen with older appliances and no built in microwave. The counter tops and plumbing have been upgraded. The original hardwood floors were in good repair. My concern was closet space and the proximity to the busy intersection. There is a car port garage in the back and a porch off the unit. An older washer/dryer set was installed. One bedroom was quite small and the bath needed tub upgrading. I liked the two fireplaces but they could not be used for safety reasons. There is a lot of natural light from the windows. The owner was pleasant and helpful.
