Throughout the year, the park will host a variety of organized social events for special holidays that could include Valentine's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Years' Eve. Centrally located, El Capitan sits directly across the street from a full-service supermarket, beverage shop and Gas-Mart. The local buses stop within feet of the park and the trolley is just a few minutes car ride away.
